【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforhelmetsmanufacturedforusebyrecreationalbicyclistsorrollerskaters.Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityoflightweightconstructionandventilation;however,itisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.1.2AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedherein.1.3Partialutilizationofthisspecificationisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationshallbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationinitsentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthestandardandshouldnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthestandard.
