【摘要】:ThispartofBS7971givesguidanceoncarryingoutriskassessmentsonviolentsituationsandontheselectionofprotectiveclothingandequipmentforuseinsuchsituations,andintrainingofoperativesexposedtosuchsituations.Guidanceisgivenontheidentificationofthosewithresponsibilityfordecisionmakingandthefactorstobetakenintoaccountindecisionmaking.Guidanceisalsogivenonestablishingsystemsforthemaintenance,storage,preparation,andissuingofprotectiveclothingandequipment,andthesegregation,decontamination,cleaning,inspectionandeventualdisposalofusedclothingandequipment.NOTEAdditionalguidanceonassessmentofthesuitabilityofprotectiveclothingandequipment,andfactorstobetakenintoaccountinimprovingthedesignofitemsofprotectiveclothingandequipmentisgiveninAnnexF.
